2019 Equity Innovator

Our district’s innovative work with the Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center (MAP Center), a project of Great Lakes Equity Center, was rigorously evaluated and deemed the most noteworthy example of the pursuit of educational equity by an education agency for the 2018-2019 school year. Selected from numerous applicants, Ferndale Public Schools (FPS) was awarded the Equity Innovator Recognition.

The Michigan Association of Supervision & Curriculum Development (Michigan ASCD) selected 3 schools and UHS is the Silver Award Recipient for taking initiative to build a healthy school environment.
